Travel to Taiwan may require an entry visa. Citizens of many Western European countries (e.g., UK, France, Germany, etc.) and the US do not need visa to enter Taiwan. Please contact the nearest Embassy and Consulate of R.O.C., or Taipei Economic and Cultural Representative Offices in your region to inquire if you need a visa to enter Taiwan.

The Local Organizing Committee (LOC) of ICMMES-2012 will provide invitation letters for visa application purpose only to those who have  registered and paid the registration fees. To request an invitation letter for your visa application, please provide the following information in your request:

• Your full name (as spelled in your passport);
• Your affiliation;
• Your business mailing address;
• and your email address.

to Professor Jaw-Yen Yang, the Chair of LOC, via email with a subject line "request a letter for visa application." The invitation letter will be sent as soon as the registration fees are received.
