  • Red : Tunisia map
  • Green : Citizens from countries colored in green can enter to Tunisia WITHOUT VISA.
  • Orange : Citizens from countries colored in orange can enter to Tunisia WITHOUT VISA if they travel on an organised tour and holding a hotel voucher.
  • Grey : Citizens from countries colored in grey NEED VISA from Tunisian embassies.

 

Tunisia local time is 1 hour ahead of Coordinated Universal Time (UTC+1).
The  legal tender in Tunisia is Dinar. The official abbreviation of the Tunisian Dinar is TND.
The exchange rate is about 2.8 TND for 1 US dollar and 3.1 for 1 Euro.

Currency conversion is possible at airports and banks. International credit cards are accepted in most important and significant places. Participants are still advised to bring local currency.

The electricity supply in Tunisia is 220 Volts and 50 Hz. Please check your notebooks/mobile phones power supply if it supports the local power supply system. The electrical sockets require two round pin plugs.
