LOCATION

HOW TO GET TO INSA CAMPUS?
The public transportation network in Lyon is called TCL.
The closest station to the conference venue is “La Doua – Gaston Berger”. Due to renovation work, the T1 tramway line is closed between “Gare Part-Dieu – Vivier Merle” and “La Doua – Gaston Berger”. A replacement bus service is currently in operation (from 4:56am to 0:43am, every 6 to 10 min). You may take this bus from the “Charpennes” station as well.
HOW TO GET TO LYON FROM THE AIRPORT?
From the airport, the fastest way to go downtown is to take the tramway called “Rhône Express” (23 € round trip) to “Lyon Part-Dieu” (last stop).
HOW TO GET FROM “LYON PART-DIEU” RAILWAY STATION TO THE RECOMMENDED HOTELS?
Holiday Inn Garden Court Lyon-Villeurbanne: walk to “Part-Dieu Jules Favre” and take bus 37 heading “Vaulx - Marcel Cachin” until “Colin”.
Hôtel des Congrès Villeurbanne: walk to “Part-Dieu Jules Favre” and take bus 59 heading “Vancia - Château Bérard” until “Rossellini - 11 Novembre”.
Hôtel Mercure Beaux-Arts: walk to “Part-Dieu Vivier Merle” and take bus 25 heading “Cordeliers - Saint Bonaventure” until “Pont Wilson”.
Hôtel Athéna Part-Dieu is within walking distance from the “Rhônexpress” station (about 500 m).
Hôtel Iris: walk to “Part-Dieu Jules Favre” and take bus C3 heading “Gare Saint Paul” until “Hôtel de Ville - Louis Pradel”.
Étap Hôtel Lyon-Villeurbanne: walk to “Part-Dieu Jules Favre” and take bus 37 heading “Vaulx - Marcel Cachin” until “Buers - Salengro”.
CONFERENCE DINNER
The conference dinner will be held at the “Brasserie Georges” on Thursday, July 7, 7:30pm. A free guided tour will be offered Thursday, July 7, at 6pm; meeting point at the Opera" (Subway A, stop at “Hôtel de ville” station).
